Exclusive: Serbian President and Serbian “Registered Serbian Foreign Agent to Organize Schedule of Investment Meeting with High Net Worth Individuals and Serbian Ambassador to the United States with Hunter Biden as Vice President of his First Year in Early Years,” according to emails reviewed by LBL Digital.
Mark Doyle, formerly a senior adviser to then-Sen. Joe Biden, and the national finance director of Biden’s failed presidential race in 2008, emailed the younger Biden on April 16, 2010, citing Serbian President Boris Tadic, who “met Tadic’s chief of staff” and asked him about Hunter. Expressing interest in meeting them.
“I met with Tadik’s chief on Thursday[sic] He asked about you while I was there. The Ambassador must have broadcasted your conversation. ”He was referring to Serbian Ambassador Vladimir Petrovic in the United States, Hunter Biden, who first met with Tadic’s national security adviser, Jovan Ratkovic in February 2010.

“I think you talked to them about putting you in front of high net worth guys and they’re ready to do that and you’re also ready to meet Tadic. I’m going there with Milan in May and I think they are. You’re looking to join,” Doyle continued. “My feeling from Vladimir is that they are willing to help you with your fund. If you are interested you can call Vladimir directly. I do not need you in the middle.

At the time, Doyle was working as a registered foreign agent on behalf of the Republic of Serbia through his firm, Prairie Avenue Advisors, the only foreign country he has registered to represent since late May 2009. The Department of Justice, Doyle revealed that Petrovic was the chief dealt officer. Doyle will serve as president of the central pro-Biden super PAC Unite the Country, which supported Biden’s candidacy throughout the 2020 presidential election and raised nearly $ 50 million.
Two hours later, Hunter responded and said that “Marky in the Middle” would be the name of the “reality show” he would be producing and that he would meet in Serbia next month.
He wrote through his father’s initials: “How are we going to get around May 10. JRB is in Madrid and I can ride with him and go back to Serbia and with you.”
Doyle responded to Hunter’s email three days later, saying that Vladimir Petrovic, who was serving as Serbian ambassador to the United States at the time, “wants to start a full day with Tadic and potential investors.”
“They’re ready to get people who are committed as soon as you’re there. They’re very serious guys, as I understand it,” Doyle explained.
A week later, Eric Schwerin, Hunter Biden’s business partner, emailed Hunter and Doyle about the Serbia tour, and said, “Hunter wants to try to go to Serbia with his father in Madrid.”
“The Madrid tour should end on Sunday 9th, so they can go to Belgrade on Sunday night and stay on 10th and 11th (not sure how long they will be and whether they will leave at 11am or leave at noon. 12th),” Schwerin said.
Schwerin later noted that “Hunter may not have a particular investment opportunity to pitch”, but that the Serbia tour may be an “introductory tour” and that he can “schedule an ongoing tour” if he “assesses the areas of investor interest.” Talk about a specific investment opportunity. ”
Three days later, on April 29, 2010, Hunter Petrovic emailed him, thanking him for the invitation to visit Serbia. However, he said there was a “change in schedule” for his trip to Europe that week, and he did not think he could do it during the week of May 11.
“I would like to find another time to visit Belgrade this spring,” Hunter wrote. “Maybe I’ll contact you soon with some dates that may work in the next month or two and we can review the calendars and see which dates work best for you at the end.”
Petrovic responded almost a week later, apologizing for his delayed response and saying Hunter was “looking forward” to a visit to Serbia. In the same email, he mentioned that he had “some preliminary conversations with some businessmen in Serbia” and that he thinks Hunter “finds some opportunities” when they visit.
Based on emails verified by LBL Digital, it is unclear whether Hunter visited Serbia or Petrovic’s offer to meet wealthy business men in Serbia. However, the emails show that Hunter, Schwerin and Petrovic continued to stay in touch with DC to become a lobbyist after Petrovic left the embassy.
In addition to these email exchanges between Doyle and Hunter, it was reported earlier this year that CAMAC International, a Houston-based oil company, and Case Laval, its Nigerian-American president, had helped Hunter Biden introduce his private equity firm, Rosemont Seneca. , Between 2011 and 2012.
It is reported that Laval paid $ 10 million to buy gold from a Congolese warlord known as “The Terminator.” Years later, the Congolese commander, Basko Ntaganda, was convicted by the International Criminal Court of War Crimes and sentenced to 30 years.
Hunter Biden’s lawyer did not respond to LBL Digital’s request for comment. The White House, Doyle, Schwerin and Petrovic also did not respond to requests for comment.
