talking to Sunday Times StyleThe 47-year-old actor commented on how people view his own physical beauty.
“I think, when you start out, it’s helpful at first if people find you attractive,” she told the publication.
“If people start thinking that’s your main thing, I don’t think it’s useful to anyone, least of all of you. I think women are cursed anyway.
“I don’t just mean actresses. You are seen as attractive, you are not seen as attractive.”
Beckinsale continued: “You’re seen too young, you get too old. Where’s the f***ing sweet spot for women? At some point you just have to go, ‘b******* – It’s me.’ “
The actor said he is not bothered by the aging process, telling the magazine that his family is “generally on the younger-looking side”.
“Even my dog is nine years old and looks like a puppy,” she teased.
“I’m very aware of the possibility that people could be dead at any time. When I was 33, people started trying to make me worry about turning 40. If you overloaded it like that So, you’re not going to give that person as a s***.”
Beckinsale said she has not had any plastic surgery.
“I have no one!” When asked, he told the publication.
“I’m not against people keeping it. [But] I get the p***ed off. It’s kind of a given that I have, which I literally haven’t.
“I’m afraid of paralyzing my face. My mother’s voice is in my head, very loud, all the time.”
She further added how she is skeptical about cosmetic procedures.
“I know that if I did Botox, I’d be the one who got the droopy eye, and my mother would go, ‘I f***ing told you that! Take a look? You should never do that.'”
