This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was definitely a special one as it took place in front of a live audience for the first time in over a year.
The show was full of great matches and memorable moments as fans just have an amazing time. The show ended with Seth Rollins sitting on a ladder holding the Money in the Bank briefcase.
After the show went off the air, Rollins got a microphone and addressed the crowd at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Later, Dolph Ziggler, Big E, Robert Roode, Apollo Cruz, Commander Aziz, Finn Balor, King Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro came out for an impromptu battle royal.
Big E would win the match after limiting the crew. He then addressed the crowd with a promo and thanked the crowd for their energy.
“Each of you were incredible. Thank you for your energy.”
Pat McAfee addressed the crowd and fans certainly loved it. With the WWE Thunderdome era behind us, we’ll have to wait and see what else the company has in store for fans.
