Also Sunday, Walshe’s husband was arrested and charged with mishandling a police investigation, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Brian Walsh, 46, was arrested and will be arraigned Monday in Quincy District Court.

This isn’t Brian Walsh’s first brush with the law. He pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Boston in 2021 after being arrested for selling two fake Andy Warhol paintings that were sold to a South Korean buyer for $80,000 several years ago, federal prosecutors said.

Police say the case is unrelated to Ana Walshe’s disappearance.
