Jerry Lawler has said many things in commentary over the years that can be considered “crossing the line.” He was allowed to slip the line when called “Ramen Noodle Moonsault” by Akira Tozawa. He believes King’s Line has been edited by future broadcasts and that has caught him off television.
While speaking at Wrestling FestJerry Lawler went on his last Fox Pass at WWE RAW. He meant nothing by the comment, but this slip of the tongue definitely gave him some heat in the fan base. That attention from the fan base really got attention on the line.
“So one day I was doing RAW and Tozawa was in the game. Tozawa was doing some kind of movement and then we were live. You have to remember we were live and now Byron was like, ‘Oh, that’s a rotating dragon’ thing and I was thinking ‘Oh, you did that.’ And the next thing, he goes to the top of the rope and he flew in and I looked at Byron and I said, ‘Oh look, there’s a ramen noodle moonsault.’
“And suddenly, the Internet explodes. ‘Oh, King is a casteist.’ Toa za, too, came back the next week and said, ‘It’s not racist. I eat ramen noodles every week.’ ‘With the accent. “
The timing of the extraction from the Ramen Noodle Moonsault Line and the WWE Hall of Famer RAW is a strange coincidence. Fans have shared a lot of opinions, memes and outrage on the subject. Suddenly, Lawler was stripped of WWE Raw and they found a different interpretation situation.
