Fox News anchor Jesse Watters called out Democrats and Hollywood elites at the 45th Kennedy Center Election on “Jesse Watters Primetime” Monday.
JESSE WATERS: Liberals love a lot of things: masks, voting by mail, electric cars. But there is one thing they love more than anything – themselves. And Hollywood celebrities they feel they don’t get enough credit. Fame and millions are not enough, so they throw themselves parties: Oscars, Grammys, Golden Globes. They hand each other trophies on television and show the world how hard they work. And we love movies, so we put up with the pomp and pageantry to see our favorite film win.

But something happened recently. Being an actor was no longer enough. You should have been active. As the celebs took the stage to accept their little trophies, they started ranting about climate change and how oppressed they were, and America tuned in. Nobody wants to hear these people talk about politics, and we don’t need lectures from outsiders. Ratings dropped and if someone didn’t slap. The next day, no one talked about the show.
But Hollywood has a workaround. With Hollywood teams DC Democrats celebrate themselves appropriately. They turned the Kennedy Center Awards into the new Oscars. It was the event of the year. Whoever it was was there. George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kamala’s husband and Matt Damon. All the stars are out. Nancy made Bono kiss the ring. Sean Penn feuded with Anthony Blinken. They argued about who Zelensky likes more.
