Joe Rogan defends Omar’s 2019 ‘all about the Benjamins’ remark: ‘That’s not an antisemitic comment’


Joe Rogan on Saturday defended Rep. Ilhan Omar’s, D-Minn., controversial 2019 comment, “It’s all about Benjamin,” and claimed it was not anti-Semitic.

In 2019, Omar responded to criticism of his views on US relations with Israel, saying, “It’s all about the Benjamin baby.” The comment was blasted as invoking antisemitism and Jewish stereotypes. The House voted earlier this month to remove Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee, citing his past controversial comments.

Rogan spoke to Breaking Points hosts Crystal Ball and Sagar Njiti on his podcast about his eviction. Rogan blasted Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Ca., for being allowed to stay in politics after his involvement in enabling Russia’s collusion about former President Trump. mocked, but defended it, citing Omar’s speech as he left the committee.
