Jon Hamm’s Wax Figure Sold Out Booze And Steaks In New York

When the pandemic rocked the world, a restaurant used celebrity wax figures to lure guests in for a nice evening with their favorite stars – no social distancing required. What’s more, one of New York City’s most popular steakhouses partnered with Madame Tussauds carte crazy man Star Jon Hamm’s likeness to sell cocktails and beef to guests. But it also swirled in the wax figures of other big names like Audrey Hepburn and Jimmy Fallon.

Haim has 107 acting credits to his name and new projects coming soon. Maggie Moore and off season are in pre-production, corner office in post-production, confess, Fletch Fle is currently filming, and Top Gun: Maverick It is set to hit the screens in November.

He is best known for playing FBI Special Agent Adam Frawley City, jb in million dollar arm, and Bob Callahan in the 2018 comedy film tags. But, of course, his lead role as Don Draper in the period drama crazy man brought the Hollywood actor into the limelight.

Haim’s character, Don Draper, is a talented creative director at Sterling Cooper in the 1960s. He is shockingly good at presenting and selling ideas – thanks to his ability to read others and understand their wishes. Unfortunately, he also struggles with erratic behavior that often leads to problems with his job and those around him.

Esquire stated that the character’s traits reflect “narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder”, but he also appears to have an impulse control disorder.

Madame Tussauds has come under fire in recent years for its wax figures of Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, and, most infamously, Beyoncé (which had to be rebuilt due to Beehive outrage) as fans thought their Parallels do not resemble stars. However, the wax effigy of Tussauds Hamm is far from the mark and looks remarkably similar to his crazy man Character.

The realism of his wax figure is extremely exciting and guests at Peter Luger Steak House in Brooklyn were allowed to eat and drink near the talented actor/advertising guru during a time when social distancing was required. Better yet, it brings guests closer to crazy man Star without risking yourself or your idol.

To top it all, you wouldn’t even know it wasn’t hmm at a glance. Wax figure photos can easily be misunderstood as the caption would not have said otherwise.

Other wax figures appeared in the steakhouse

The Peter Luger Steak House also displayed other wax figures of celebrities. With the help of Madame Tussauds, the steakhouse introduced four coveted stars to encourage patrons to return to the restaurant after the pandemic.

“The restaurant industry is critical to New York City’s economy, and it has been particularly hard hit last year,” Peter Luger VP Daniel Turtell told The Hollywood Reporter in February. “We are excited to welcome diners indoors at 35 percent and thought this would be a fun, safe way to fill some of the seats that need to remain vacant as we continue to fight the pandemic.”

Patrons also found wax figures of Audrey Hepburn perched on a table with her chin in hand, Jimmy Fallon drinking tea and eating sweets, and Michael Strahan standing inside the front door. And, of course, with Jon Hamm chilling at the bar, it looked like Don Draper was ready to share a toast.
