Carrion Cross made his Raw debut this week, but he lost to Jeff Hardy in less than two minutes. Needless to say, some fans were not happy to see it. NXT held a televised taping from Capital Wrestling Center last night, and those fans didn’t forget that Hardy defeated the NXT Champion.
Bodyslam.net Report that fans at the Capitol Wrestling Center last night shouted “Hardy” at Carrion Cross during their entrance. In fact, the mantra was such an issue that he called for canceling that entrance and trying again.
It was a segment with Carrion Cross and Samoa Joe. Mantra was such a problem that his fans stayed with him after the show to re-shoot the entire scene. It was also reported from someone in the building that fans were lied to in the process.
“They even lied to us and said that something special is about to happen so we will not go.” A source said. “[A Crew Member] Told me the show was not over. When [we] Tried to leave, he told us there was a surprise. “
It is not unheard of to re-shoot a segment or spot, especially since live fans have not been present for the last 18 months and pre-taped shows can be easily edited. We’ll have to see if any of those “Hardy” chants are heard on television, but NXT clearly doesn’t want Jeff Hardy to be named after their champion.
