Actress Kate Bosworth recently revealed that she encouraged her friend, actor Justin Long, to appear on “The Drew Barrymore Show” to talk about his new film. The two have been friends for years and have even starred in a movie together. Bosworth said that she knew Long was a big fan of Barrymore and urged him to go on her show.
In an interview with People magazine, Bosworth said, “I just texted Justin and was like, ‘You should go on Drew Barrymore’s show. You love her, you should just go and chat about the movie.’ And he was like, ‘Oh my god, that’s such a good idea.'”
Long recently appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” to promote his new movie “Lady of the Manor” which he co-wrote and directed alongside Melanie Lynskey. During the interview, he talked about his experience working on the film and also discussed his love for Barrymore.
Bosworth, who is also a close friend of Barrymore’s, said that she loves seeing Long and Barrymore together because they have such a great connection. “They’re two people that have known each other for a long time and have great chemistry and love and respect for each other,” she said.
Bosworth is best known for her roles in films like “Blue Crush,” “Superman Returns,” and “Still Alice.” She and Long starred in the 2010 romantic comedy “The Romantics” together.
Long is known for his roles in films like “He’s Just Not That Into You,” “Live Free or Die Hard,” and “Dodgeball.” He has also appeared in numerous TV shows, including “New Girl,” “The Mindy Project,” and “Ed.”
