Kevin Durant’s surprising reaction from Aaron Judge was ‘cooler than I thought’


Nets star Kevin Durant didn’t intend to go cold in response to Aaron Judge’s return to the Yankees.

After the Nets beat the Hornets on Wednesday, Durant was asked about Judge’s nine-year, $360 million contract, and he said: “I’m a Nationals fan. I don’t care about Aaron Judge at all.”

That night, Durant, who grew up in Washington, D.C., took to Twitter to clear the air after seeing a postgame video of himself talking about the referee.

“Damn this turned out cooler than I thought.. all kidding.. welcome to 99 town…” Durant tweeted.
