2023 is just a full month away and the Jonas Brothers are resurgent.
The New Jersey family received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and announced that their sixth album, titled “The Album,” is on the way. The brothers teased new music and the possibility of a tour when they performed at the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! On January 7
While “The Album” has been painted as a Bee Gees-inspired record, Kevin Jonas stated in a recent interview that the band was more influenced by the sounds of the disco group than anything else.

“A lot of people relate to it. It’s funny, they keep mentioning it. And it’s the kind of music we grew up on,” Jonas explained. “You think about my dad when we’re starting to do music like, ‘It was three other brothers…’ so I mean, he was always an influence and someone we listen. But I think it’s more about the era, the timing and the harmony of it all.”
“But it’s not like a tribute album in any capacity. It’s pulling from references that we really loved growing up. The album is my favorite thing we’ve done. We’ve made music and released it. It’s been four years. So, it’s about time. Ready to get back on the road and just in time for the next football season.”
Jonas said that some of the tracks were even inspired by Bruce Springsteen. And given the New Jersey connection, it makes sense. Jonas and his brother were born in Teaneck — about an hour’s drive from Freehold, where the “Born to Run” rocker grew up.
“It’s all there,” Jonas said. “But especially Bruce because Bruce is close to our hearts and minds for so many reasons. But there are so many songs on this album that we love about him.”

Like Springsteen, Jonas never set foot on the West Coast permanently. The Jersey boy said the Garden State had always tugged at his heartstrings.
“I was in L.A. for a while. I lived there for my life and time.” he said. “There was always a return to New Jersey. It felt good to me. I was really happy to find a partner that had an ecosystem and a home base there. Danielle, with her family and everything, traveled as much as I would. Yeah, it’s good. I have a family and a support system for me while I’m gone.”
Jones spoke from inside State Farm Stadium in what looked like a suite turned into a hotel room. That was all.
Jonas partnered with Courtyard by Marriott to give two lucky fans the ultimate Super Bowl experience. Those fans will be able to stay inside the stadium and get a jump start on all Super Bowl preparations. The brand has partnered with the NFL for over a decade.
Both fans don’t really know how good they’ll have it, Jonas said.
“You know what the traffic is like, you know what the lines are like — they don’t have to deal with any of that,” he said. “That’s what made me smile. I was like, ‘Oh man, they have no idea how good they have it.’
Super Bowl LVII will take place on February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The game will be televised on FOX.
