Conservatives on Twitter mocked former MSNBC host and left-wing tweeter Keith Olbermann after his account was suspended by Elon Musk.
Late Thursday, Twitter’s new owner suspended several prominent media accounts at once, including those of CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, the New York Times’ Ryan Mack, former Vox reporter Aaron Rupar and Olbermann.
In response to numerous inquiries from conservative and liberal accounts, Musk, who is considered to be a proponent of free speech, sought to know why Musk acted the way he did, claiming that the journalists had “doxxed” him or “revealed the obvious truth” about him. did time location on the site”.

Musk confirmed a tweet by journalist Mike Solana that there was evidence that at least half of those suspended violated the platform’s “new doxxing policy.” The world’s richest man said, “They published my exact real-time location, basically the coordinates of the assassination, in (clear) violation of Twitter’s terms of service.”
Musk later stated that the accounts were only suspended for “7 days”. Still, he asked Twitter users whether they should restore accounts “now,” “tomorrow,” “in 7 days,” or “more than seven days.”
Although some conservatives were concerned about the suspension, many derided the suspended accounts, especially Olbermann. Olbermann has regularly posted hostile tweets about conservatives over the years, and his temporary hiatus has shown little sympathy.
Conservative YouTuber duo The Hodge Twins found the suspension hilarious, tweeting: “@keitholbermann was suspended for telling people to post links to @elonmusk’s jet location. It’s actually pretty funny.”
Conservative author Dinesh D’Souza did not think the move violated the principles of free speech. He said: “Cheering the removal of Aaron Rupar and Keith Olbermann is not a violation of free speech. Why? Because these rabid censors only learn it the hard way. They’re like retreating thugs. z when the legs are suffocated.”
