Little Simz have confirmed that a new album, NO THANKS, is on the way.
The rapper will follow up his Mercury Prize-winning fourth album, 2021’s Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, with another record. There is no confirmed date at the time of writing, but fans may already know save in advance album on streaming services.
Simz – real name Simbi Ajikawo – made the announcement on social media with a short clip of aphorisms.
“Emotion is energy in motion / truth and honoring your feelings / overcoming fear / boundaries are important,” the album’s title reads in separate lines.

It’s unclear if Simz has teamed up with multi-award-winning producer and longtime friend Inflo (SAULT) again for a fifth album.
In October, Simz took on competition from Mercury Prize favorites Self Esteem and Wet Leg in a live event at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith.
Accepting the trophy, the musician and actor said: “Wow, I’m really, really excited. I am very grateful, glory be to God. God thank you so much.”
She also paid tribute to Inflo, the producer who worked on the album (who also produced her Mercury Prize-nominated third album, 2019’s GRAY AREA), saying there were times in the studio when she said, “I didn’t know I was going to finish. it’s a record.”
“I felt all the emotions and really experienced it and he [producer Inflo] It stuck with me and made me want to bring this album to you guys,” he added.
The rapper performed “How Did You Get Here” live and got up to sing the track a second time after accepting the award.
Simz continued his winning streak in 2022. Last week, he and Knucks won Album of the Year at the MOBO Awards (for “Sometimes I Might Be Introvert” and “Alpha Pace,” respectively).
Earlier in 2022, the rapper won a BRIT Award for Best New Artist, even though Sometimes I’m an Introvert is his fourth album.
