PVRIS have announced the opening acts for their upcoming UK and European tour, with Maggie Lindemann serving as co-headlining act on the first leg.
The Texan pop-punk artist will open for PVRIS on the first four dates of the run, which kicks off at Manchester Academy on Sunday 22nd January, before taking in Glasgow, Birmingham and London next week.
The tour will also feature Nashville alt-pop artist Charlotte Sands, who rose to fame on TikTok. In addition to performing at four of the aforementioned UK shows, he will follow nine more PVRIS to Europe. Kicking off in Antwerp on Sunday 29 January, shows in Tilburg, Paris, Cologne and Hamburg continue until the first week of February.
From there, PVRIS and Sands will play in Hamburg, Vienna, Munich and Milan, before playing in Berlin on Friday 10 February. You can find tickets for Glasgow, Birmingham and London shows. Herewith the rest PVRIS website.
The tour was originally scheduled to return in April, but has been postponed to focus on his yet-to-be-announced fourth album. The band announced their ‘new era’ in July of last year, and so far have released the electro single ‘My Way’, the Miyavi-assisted ‘Snakes’ and the doubles ‘Animal’ and ‘Anywhere But Here’. In August, the band collaborated with Bad Suns on the single “Maybe You Saved Me”.
PVRIS’ fourth album is the follow-up to August 2020’s Use Me. In this album’s four-star review, NMEDannii Leivers described it as righteous woman Lynn Gunn “the voice of an artist flexing her muscles, coming to terms and peace with her past, and most importantly, embracing a new future.”
