A man has died after falling from the top floor of a Selfridges store in front of shocked shoppers.
Doctors rushed to the scene yesterday evening after announcing they had died after falling from the top floor of a Birmingham city center store yesterday evening.
West Midlands police said his death is not being treated as suspicious and will be sent to investigators for interrogation.
The army expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the man.
A police spokesman said: “A man has died tragically after falling from the upper level of Selfridge at around 7pm on Monday evening.
“His death will not be treated as suspicious and will be referred to investigators. We have our sympathies with his family and friends.”
The merchant watching the paramedics enter the store can be seen in the captured footage.
The tragedy happened just after 7pm yesterday.
