Matt Hardy returned to WWE because he says he was indebted to him


Matt Hardy had quite a career before entering AEW. He was coming off another run with the WWE, but he never re-signed with Vince McMahon’s company. Hardy appeared recently AEW unrestricted Podcast, where he discussed leaving WWE and joining AEW.

Hardy explained that when he initially left the WWE in 2011, he wasn’t in a good place. As a result, they felt they were indebted to him for leaving on a good note. So, he returned in 2017.

I want to go back because I am indebted to all those guys. I have a huge admiration for the WWE, Vince McMahon and all of them because without them I wouldn’t.

Hardy revealed that he has been “working on resigning” for the past eight or nine months with the WWE. [him]. ”Hardy claimed that it looks like no one wants to go to AEW.

However, Hardy was impressed by Tony Khan’s “masterful job of putting older people in certain positions where they can succeed and you can improve their efforts and their talents,” especially compared to WWE’s treatment of older wrestlers.

Hardy paid tributes to Tony for being respectful and wonderful to talk to. The wrestler once revealed that he had made up his mind about joining AEW once he spoke with Tony and Bucks. Check out the interview below.
