“Mean Girls” star Lacey Chabert mourns the loss of family members this holiday season. The actress, who made her first break-through as Claudia Salinger in Fox’s “Party of Five”, is mourning her older sister Wendy.
Chabert shared the tragic news with his Instagram followers on Tuesday.
“My beautiful sister, Wendy,” Chabert captioned a portrait of his sister. “Our hearts are broken into a million pieces. I don’t know how we will get back together now that you are gone. We love and adore you more than we can say and we will go on forever and ever and forever.”
“The traumatic loss has left us with a very broken heart,” Chabert continued. “Without my dear sister, our lives will never be the same, but we stick to Jesus’ promise that we will be together again in eternity. Please keep our family, especially her two boys, in your heart and prayers. Thank you very much.”

Chabert, 39, has been a mainstay of Hallmark cinema in recent years. The network’s official account expresses its sympathy in the comments of the photo: “We are deeply sorry for your loss. We are sending our love and energy to you and your family at this time.”
Chabert’s “Party of Five” co-star Scott Wolf expressed her grief at the role of her on-screen big brother. “It’s heartbreaking for you and your family,” he posted. “Sending you so much love.”
“Sister, Sister” star Tamera Mowry also condoled: “Oh dear Lacey! I’m so sorry !!!!!!! Praying for you, Wendy’s family and your family!” Like Maury’s brother, “smart guy” Taj led Maury. “So sorry Lacey ಕಳುಹ I’m sending love and pray that God send His healing power to you and your family,” he wrote.
