Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a “fantastic time” attending Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s surprise vow renewal this week, Page Six has learned exclusively.
“They really attended and had a great time celebrating Portia’s birthday and the couple’s vow renewal,” an insider told Us on Thursday.
The source added that they are all “close friends”.
A video of the ceremony showed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex smiling in the crowd as they watched Kris Jenner officiate for the couple, who have been married for more than 14 years.
“Harry and Meghan are in Alan and Portia’s amazing engagement renewal (with Kris Jenner!!!?) My heart 🥹✨,” one person said. Tweetedwith screenshots showing the Sussexes on a happy occasion.
Markle, 41, looked relaxed in a gray coat while Harry, 38, was casual in a black blazer, white dress shirt and no tie.
He and the red-headed royal stood apart as they clapped and cheered for the former talk show host and his wife.
Harry and Markle have apparently kept a low profile since their controversial memoir “Spear” dropped last month. Among the claims in his book, Harry accused his estranged brother Prince William of physically assaulting him and his father King Charles III, calling him a “spear” when he was born.
The former royals are close to DeGeneres and de Rossi, quite literally, as they all live in Montecito, California.
On Thursday, DeGeneres revealed that he and De Rossi renewed their vows in front of their loved ones on his wife’s 50th birthday.
“Portia surprised me at my birthday party by renewing her vows,” DeGeneres, 65, shared on social media before thanking Jenner and Brody Carlyle for performing.

DeGeneres looked stunned as De Rossi entered the room in a stunning wedding dress and led his wife to the front of the room where they reaffirmed their love for each other.
“I just adore you. I love you, and I wouldn’t be on this earth without you. You save me every day. Thank you for saving me every day,” DeGeneres told De Rossi. said as he took her hand. “I am lucky.”
DeGeneres and de Rossi first married in August 2008 in an intimate wedding ceremony in Los Angeles.
