Meghan Markle’s estranged siblings have blasted the first three episodes of their sister’s Netflix documentary series, calling it “terrible” and “excruciating”.
In an interview with TalkTV After the episodes aired on Thursday, Thomas Markle Jr. called “Harry and Meghan” “a bit disturbing.”
Markle Jr. took issue with comments Prince Harry, 38, made about his wife’s relationship with her father, Thomas Markle Sr.

Markle Jr. said Harry’s comment was “appalling.”

“For him to say he has no family, no father, and for Harry to say he doesn’t have a father now, it’s just ridiculous.â€
According to Markle Jr., the content of “Harry and Meghan” prompted her to contact her production team, who are currently working on a counter-story.
“He basically swept the whole family under the rug like we didn’t exist and then he lied about not having a family and he lied that he didn’t have the family he always wanted,†she said.
“We have always been here. The documentary is far away. This is what motivated me to work with my production team and produce a documentary that sheds a lot of light on what we should have in 2023 – it will tell a completely different story,” he continued.
“I think the general public in the UK and America now understand that the Markles are not bad people, we are just a normal family like everyone else. We are, and that’s what happens when one person lies – you end up looking ridiculous.â€
Markle Jr. was particularly unhappy with the portrayal of the couple’s fairy-tale wedding and blamed her younger half-sister for not joining the family.
“I mean, who doesn’t invite their family to a wedding, especially a royal wedding?” “It’s not like anybody in my family asked him for a nickel or anything, we were all happy for him when it happened.
“But the development of events showed the true face of this woman. My general view is that I don’t believe he was in that position, by the way, it’s my father’s job to be in that position and know what you’re getting at and then go in there and try. and change the 1000 year old traditional monarchy to your liking. Who would do that?” he continued.
“You had everything any woman could ever want in her life and you had to go and make waves and make accusations and be difficult and generally take Harry away from his family.
Markle’s half-sister Samantha also blasted the series, telling GB News she hopes Markle Sr, 78, won’t watch it.
“He’s been through a lot – two heart attacks and a stroke – and he’s turned it on, he’s watched it, he’s done nothing about it, and it’s very scary for Harry to say that,’ she said.
Samantha also denied Meghan’s claims that she was advised not to invite Ashley Hale, Samantha’s estranged daughter, to her wedding because she described her as her “sister”. family
“Ashley was cheated on and my sister actually told Ashley she couldn’t go to the wedding,” Samantha said, adding that Meghan made the decision not to invite Hale.

In a separate interview with Australia’s Channel Seven’s Sunrise, Samantha also took issue with Harry comparing Meghan to her late mother Princess Diana.
“Diana has never been recorded as destroying other people, neglecting people through heart attacks, strokes, pandemics,” he told the network.
“Why didn’t they get on a plane and go to my dad, who was in the hospital?†she asked, referring to Markle Sr.’s heart attack just days before the wedding. “No, the paparazzi wouldn’t have followed them, that’s a stupid excuse. They were never there, never wanted to be there.â€
