Mel B insists her comments about James Corden weren’t all that creepy.
The singer was recently a guest on The Big Narstie Show, where she was asked, “Who’s the biggest d—headed celebrity you’ve ever met?” The former Spice Girl added her name to the list, along with James Corden, “Ginger Spice” Geri Halliwell and Jessie J.
“Well, the first thing I said was James Corden and Geri Halliwell was a really funny joke,” Mel said. – By the way, it was about the language.
“But I will say that I’ve met a lot of people in the industry who are also not very nice because of their egos. [are] ridiculously exaggerated or they’re just believing their own hype,” the singer shared. “So I think it’s important to be humble and just be kind.”

The 47-year-old revealed on a British talk show that she loves Geri Halliwell, 50, but he can be “really boring”. However, her feelings for Corden, 44, seemed to stem from how he treats others.
“I think you always have to be nice to the people you’re working with — the production, the cameras, the sound, the lighting,” the mother of three explained. “We all work for the same thing, so you always have to be good, and he wasn’t very good.”
A representative for Corden did not immediately respond to a request for comment after the recording.
Mel, also known as “Scary Spice,” was a guest on Corden’s “The Late Late Show” in 2016 and again in 2018.

As for Mel’s response to Jessie J, she previously named the singer in a 2019 interview after being asked who the most “overrated” pop singer was. The 34-year-old later took to Instagram to call Mel “overrated”.
According to Entertainment Tonight , he wrote at the time, “”Normal Rated” *Mel B Voice.”
A rep for Jesse J did not immediately respond to a request for comment at the time.
Mel is busy getting into the festive spirit at the moment. She stars in VH1’s The New Diva’s Christmas Carol, produced by Idris Elba. Starring Ashanti, Vivica A. Fox, Robin Givens and Mckenzie Small, the film is a modern take on Charles Dickens’ classic tale.

“When I read the script, I thought, ‘That’s a really nice story,'” Mel said. “And then I found out who was involved … there was a very strong female cast on the list. I said, ‘Sure, I want to be in this.’ I got to spend a lot of time with the main character, Mackenzie. Her I watched her sing again and again in her angelic voice. It was so sweet. It’s so nice to get out of the house and immerse yourself in this Christmas. fairy tale.”
“It really was a dream come true,” Small said of working with Mel. “It’s been incredible to see someone you grew up with be as genuine and fun as you are. And it’s been amazing to watch her grow up. She’s a black woman and she one Black Spice Girl. There’s been a lot of that. I wore a scary Spice Girl costume for Halloween. And it’s always great to see someone show you off.”
Mel said she hopes her film will lift audiences over the festive season.
“I always say, surround yourself with people you trust — friends and family,” she said. “If you’re feeling down or you need to get out and seek refuge, there’s a lot of help out there… [help out there]now more than ever.”

In November of this year, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton teamed up to celebrate Halliwell’s birthday. The video, shared by Beckham’s husband David Beckham, shows the four women dancing and singing along to the 1996 hit “Say You’ll Be There.” Mel did not participate.
The 47-year-old soccer star wrote on Instagram: “@officialmelb misses you.”
This year, the second album of the girl group “Spiceworld” celebrated its 25th anniversary. Chisholm, known as “Sporty Spice,” told Extra in October that she and Mel were “championing” to get their former bandmates back on stage.
The pop artist teased on social media that the Spice Girls might reunite in the new year. While she’s staying mum on the subject, Mel reflected on what advice she would give her younger self for her first time in the music industry.

“I mean, I had a really good experience — still have,” he explained. “I was very lucky so I didn’t fall into one of those horrible pits or get sucked in by a manager who didn’t pay you. But I think that’s the most important thing for anybody. Starting out in any career, in any business, is is to know your finances and be ahead of your means.”
