An immigrant in Brooklyn tried to kill himself at the city’s newest shelter on Tuesday, police said.
The 26-year-old man was found stabbed to death inside a recently opened shelter at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal around 2:15 p.m., police said.
Sources said the man used a razor to cut his right arm in a bathroom at the housing facility. He was taken to Lutheran in stable condition.
The cruise terminal mega-shelter opened in late January and houses 1,000 single adult male immigrants.
