WWE Hall of FamerStone Cold Steve Austin is considered one of the best pro wrestlers Inside the Squared Circle has ever competed. However, Austin was not always as successful as his WWE debut ringmaster. He seems to have opened up about his infamous confrontation with Mike Tyson.
At the height of Monday night’s war, the WCW defeated the RAW in the ratings on Monday night. Because of this, WWE decided to make some big jumps since they brought boxing legend Mike Tyson before WrestleMania 14.
Austin and Tyson had a confrontation in the ring, which eventually led to a huge brawl, as fans became mad by ducking it into the ring. When talking to ‘Wrestling Rumble 89, Steve Austin opened up about the infamous confrontation with Tyson and how he didn’t follow the script.
“I didn’t know what Mike was going to say. I had broad points about it. But, it was just the deal. Mike went out there and said what he said and I got in his face and turned him. He had to push the sh * t out of me because if he just pushed me, he would. So he pulled the sh * t out of me.
Austin previously revealed that he wasn’t sure Mike Tyson can handle WrestleMania 14. Austin went on to defeat Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 14 and become the new WWE Champion. It’s safe to say that Mike Tyson’s involvement helped WWE in a big way during his show.
