Miranda Lambert recognizes the talents of her husband, police officer Brandon McLoughlin, and believes they deserve to be shared with people, just as she shares her musical talents with the world.
Speaking at the annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala, Lambert discussed what prompted her to post recent shirtless photos of her husband on Instagram celebrating their 4-year wedding anniversary.
“I told him, I work in my gift. I’m a singer-songwriter … I believe that my job, my gift, is to take the song to people, so if you’re given that gift, you Should take it. Guys,” he joked, highlighting McLaughlin’s body.
The original photo, which was taken in Mexico and shared with her followers, was captioned in part, “You’re all welcome for the last two pictures.”

“Welcome to the world,” he repeated on Saturday night.
This is the second marriage for Lambert, who was married to fellow musician Blake Shelton from 2011 to 2015.
Lambert, 39, previously revealed she met her husband while doing press on “Good Morning America” with her group The Pistol Annies, where McLaughlin was working as security.
On Saturday, the couple agreed that communication is what keeps the relationship strong.

“If you can actually sit on the couch and discuss what’s on your mind and what’s in your heart … it makes everything a lot easier,” McLaughlin said.
“And fun, we like to have fun,” Lambert added.
The couple, who complimented each other in black dresses, are attending only their second Grammy Awards together.
“This is Brandon’s second Grammy,” explained Lambert. “But the one he came to two years ago was still a little weird. So this will be the first normal Grammy he’s gone to with me,” she said, sharing her excitement.
“We do a lot of country award shows, so this is our night to like, sit down and watch the show,” he said of attending the popular music awards show.
Miranda Lambert was excited to share the evening with her husband, as the only other Grammy Awards she’s attended have been during the pandemic, when the show was different.
