The streaming behemoth revealed that it will raise prices on projects in the US Its original plan starts at $ 9.99, previously from $ 8.99.
The popular standard scheme, which supports high-definition content and allows users to view it separately on two screens, jumps from $ 13.99 to $ 15.49.
The Premium Plan offers Ultra HD and supports up to four screens simultaneously, increasing from $ 17.99 per month to $ 19.99 per month.
Netflix could not be immediately reached for comment. In a statement to lbl, the company said it was raising prices to “offer a variety of quality entertainment options.”
According to lbl, the price hike will come into effect immediately for new customers, but existing customers will see a price bump on their next bill.
Netflix last raised prices in 2020 as millions of users flocked to their homes to stream streaming services due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
