Sean O’Malley intends to fight Petr Yan for the UFC bantamweight title, and not only that, but Suga believes he ‘sleeps with the Russians.’
Yan lost the Bantamweight title after he was disqualified for placing an illegal knee on Aljamin Sterling in the fourth round of his controversial title match at UFC 259.
However, many fans still consider Yan a ‘true’ champion and can’t wait to see O’Malley check himself against the former bantamweight king.
“I’m saying I’m training for it,” O’Malley said on the Timbosugarshow Podcast (h / t Jordan Ellis of Low Kick MMA) “Me vs. Petr Yan going on. Can you guys, though, be a champion with no rank? F ***** g let’s be a champion by number. I sleep Russian one. I don’t think they’ll give me that fight … The big fight is I vs. Petr .Aljo f ***** G fighting or what? Because Alzo got out and said he was good then.
“So I don’t know, girlfriend. Am I ready for that fight? I did my sprints yesterday, I lost weight, ”added the rankless bantamweight. “So I’m technically in shape for about five minutes. It’s a 25 minute fight, boyfriend, I plan to go there and in 10 minutes, don’t take him outside. Baby, don’t you want to fight the dog? I was running sprint, sprint and shadow boxing last night. F ***** g in my mind, I was fighting Petr on October 30. Four working weeks, so I was motivated and then I got more and ate pizza. I was going to win and then I was like nah, then you’re not fighting this guy. “
Yan is scheduled to face Sandagin seeking an interim bantamweight title match at UFC 267 on October 30, but O’Malley will compete against No. 15 Bantamweight Roulean Paiva at UFC 269 on December 15.
