Ozzy Osbourne was spotted out in public this week for the first time since announcing his retirement from touring.
The 74-year-old rock legend walked with a cane as he entered a Los Angeles medical center on Wednesday. The former Black Sabbath singer appeared in good spirits, flashing a peace sign for photographers.
The trip comes hours after he wrote on his social media accounts that he had to cancel his tour four years ago due to a spinal injury and other health issues.

“I’m honestly humbled by how patiently you’ve all held onto your tickets for all this time, but in all good conscience, I now realize that I’m physically unable to meet my visitors. Not able to visit Europe/UK. Dates, as I know I could not cope with required travel,” he wrote.
He called the announcement “one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans”, adding that the idea of ”disappointing” them “really F—S ME UP, this More than you will ever know.”

“I never thought my touring days would end like this,” he wrote, adding that his team was trying to figure out how he could perform without traveling. .
Osborne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 and was involved in a near-fatal accident on an ATV that same year. In 2019, he fell, aggravating his neck and back injuries, which required surgery.
It was announced today that the rock legend has canceled the rest of his tour.

“Compressing the spinal column, I had nerve pain,” Ozzy told The Observer last year. “I’d never heard of nerve pain! You know when you’re a kid, and you’re playing with ice and your hands get really cold? Then you go in and you get hot water. Put it in, and they get hot? And you get that cold? And it hurts? That’s it.”
