Two days later, Baltimore police tracked down a parent or guardian of a boy wandering the streets at midnight Saturday morning.
Police canceled a “lookout” for parents or guardians of a child on Monday afternoon, stating that “they have been found and are communicating with child protection services.”
A concerned resident first identified a single boy in the dark and chill of the early morning hours of Nov. 27 at 2000 Kennedy Avenue and reported a possible case of child neglect.
Police say a 3 to 4-year-old child was walking down the street by himself and did not know where he lived or his name.
The child was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital for evaluation, but is in good condition.
Police have updated the department’s Facebook page saying they have found a child responsible adult but have not provided any information about who the adults are, where the adults were, how the child was alone on the street or any of the allegations. Submitted
