Police Officer, 2 Suspects Wounded In Nevada Shooting


A police officer and two suspects were wounded in a shooting in Reno, Nevada on Sunday, authorities said.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. local time Sunday near an apartment complex on Sky Valley Drive, after officers responded to a call of “unspecified trouble.” It remains unclear what led to the shooting.

Reno police and local SWAT teams were on the scene. Police told 2News that the shooting involved two suspects and two officers.

Both suspects and an officer were wounded in the shooting, police said.

A DAY AFTER A HIT-AND-RUN AWAY FROM FREMONT STREET IN LAS VEGAS.

One of the suspects and the injured officer were taken to the hospital. Their terms were not clear.

Residents in the area were evacuated while police attempted to remove the second suspect from the apartment complex.
