Minihan is in charge of the Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base near O’Fallon, Illinois, which oversees refueling and transport aircraft. He reportedly wrote a memo suggesting war with China within two years.
“My gut tells me we will be fighting in 2025,” Minihan wrote, adding that his officers must instruct service members “with the full understanding that remorseless lethality is paramount. ”
