Pornhub is blowing the lid on America’s X-rated viewing habits by revealing the most popular searches on its website for 2022.
The company released the dirty data on Tuesday, showing that “lesbian” was the most searched term in all 50 states, with “hentai” — a type of Japanese anime — trailing behind.
Meanwhile, “blowjob,” “cosplay,” and “trans” also saw significant search growth in 2022, with “transgender” rising in popularity to become the fourth most searched category in America. .
According to Pornhub, viewership in the jinky category has increased by 75 percent, and the company notes that their top searches are “often influenced by pop culture and other global events.”
“Many [search] terms will define 2022 not just on Pornhub, but in mainstream media as well,” they announced.
