Post Malone is shutting down claims she is on drugs after fans expressed concern over her dramatic weight loss.
According to TMZ, the “Congratulations” rapper — whose real name is Austin Richard Post — “insists that he’s happy and healthy and nothing is wrong.”
A source close to Malone, 27, told the outlet that her fans needn’t panic because “she’s not on drugs or sick.” In fact, he says he recently gained weight for a film role but has been “following a strict diet and working out” ever since.
Additionally, the rapper has been performing 90-minute sets while touring since September, which has also contributed to his weight loss.
Malone’s father, Rich Post, also weighed in on his son’s new look on social media.
“She’s the healthiest she’s been in years! Mentally and physically,” she commented on the fan page’s Instagram post.
Earlier this week, fans were shocked to see the “Wyatt Iverson” rapper looking quite slim after a single. The video went viral on social media Performing “I Fall Apart” in Sydney, Australia.

Other fans defended the new dad, saying he always performs with a lot of emotion and is “not doing drugs anymore.”
“Apparently Post Malone can’t sing his songs with emotion unless people think he’s on drugs. Literally, these songs [sic] So emotional I don’t know how anyone can sing this son. [sic] Without any expression,” one person tweeted.
“Post Malone is no longer doing hard core drugs, which is why his music has changed so quickly and he looks so much healthier. He’s singing with passion now. What if he was tough??? ? But how will he sing that I am different?” Another supporter wrote.
Last summer, Malone revealed how her fiancé – who has not been publicly identified – helped her overcome a “rough” battle with alcoholism.
“I’m just surrounded by beautiful people, and I met a really beautiful person who made me feel human again,” he said of his wife-to-be during a June 13 interview on “The Howard Stern Show.” .
