Garcia, 35, was feeding the camel and when he ran out of food, the animal, which had previously been abused in a circus, became enraged and “bruised” him, until Priscilla feared. She was looking shocked.
In an interview with People magazine, he recalled the camel, which weighed about 2,000 pounds, “bit me by the hand and almost lifted me off my feet, then it dropped me to the ground and pounced. , he literally took my whole head in his mouth and bit me.”
While the attack was taking place, he said his mother was “scared” and “she was in shock.”

To make matters worse, due to the camel’s weight, shelter workers were unable to free Garcia — in the end, it was a nearby stray dog that saved the day.
As he explained it, “The dog knew something was wrong and was getting scared and getting in his face. That’s why the camel was taken off.”

After the attack, Garcia chose to visit the emergency room back home in Los Angeles, where he received 34 staples in his head.

Although that day could have easily been much worse, tragedy struck the family a few days later on January 12th when Lisa Marie passed away at the age of 54.

“I mean, I was happy that I was saved before, but now it’s like, thank God I’m saved. My mom would have lost two babies in two weeks,” Garcia said.
In a statement earlier this week, Priscilla stressed how important it is to her now to “keep her family together”.
“From the first moment I held Lisa in my arms, I protected, loved and guided her, like my own son,” he said. “Our hearts are broken, and I have to learn to live without my only daughter. We truly love you all, and we feel your prayers. For caring so deeply about our family. thank you very much.”

Despite some squabbling over the legitimacy of Lisa Marie’s will, the family seems to be standing on a united front.

Riley Keough, Lisa Marie’s oldest daughter, “got on really well” with her younger siblings, according to Garcia’s earlier statements. 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley.
The entire family was seen mourning together at Lisa Marie’s public memorial service at Elvis’ famous estate Graceland on January 22.
