Private Division partners with Game Freak for new action-adventure game

Private Division, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, announced a partnership with Game Freak, the developer behind the popular Pokémon franchise, to create a new action-adventure game.

The yet-to-be-titled game will be developed by Game Freak’s Tokyo studio and will be published by Private Division for consoles and PC. According to a press release, the game will offer players “a new and exciting way to experience action-adventure gameplay, featuring an original character and storyline.”

“We are tremendously excited about our newly announced partnership with Game Freak, as they are one of the world’s premier game developers with a proven track record of creating beloved and acclaimed video game franchises,” said Allen Murray, vice president of production and development at Private Division.

Game Freak’s CEO and co-founder, Junichi Masuda, added, “At Game Freak, we are always on a mission to create unique and fulfilling experiences that resonate with gamers all over the world. We are thrilled to be working with Private Division on this exciting new project and look forward to sharing more details with everyone soon.”

Private Division is known for publishing games such as The Outer Worlds, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, and Kerbal Space Program. This partnership with Game Freak marks another high-profile collaboration for the company.
