Radiohead’s Tom York and Iron Maiden’s Jenic Gers share a collaborative single.


Noah Yorke, son of Radiohead frontman Tom Yorke, has teamed up with Dylan Gers, son of Iron Maiden guitarist Jenick Gers, on a new single called Red Skies.

Dylan recently announced a moody and atmospheric collaboration on social media wrote: “I hope you enjoy the inner workings of our minds.”

Meanwhile, Noah said the Michael Smith-produced song was “written and sung. [Dylan] with me on 12-string, bass, vocal harmony, piano and other bits. He added: “We are proud of it. We hope you like it.”

Noah Yorke released his first track, Trying Too Hard (Lullaby), in September 2021. He previously dropped material under the alias Alec Owen, including 2020s. ‘SOLD’ album.

In addition, Noah was a member of the London duo Hex Girlfriend (via The result). Last month, the musician shared a single “Lucky Black Cat”As he explained, he was “very inspired by Nick Drake and Bruce Springsteen.” Instagram.

Meanwhile, Tom Yorke is currently on a North American headlining tour with The Smile.

In a four-star review of the band’s concert in Brooklyn, New York last month NME wrote: “For a project born separately, the trio’s live performance feels like a triumph […] Similar to their first show, Smile will appear at the Kings Theatre in a wonderful way“.
