WWE is doing a lot of work and they have booked a massive Monday night Raw this week featuring Big E’s WWE title win. Their ratings did not shape how they planned, but there was a reason for this decision. LOVEBYLIFE News exclusively reports that plans are being made at Madison Square Garden’s SmackDown for Big E’s Money at the Bank Cash-In, as WWE wants to make a big show on Monday. LOVEBYLIFE News exclusively reports that WWE’s strong Raw booking has nothing to do with AW.
During the Matt Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Andrew Zarian told WWE that he wants people treated equally by WWE’s network partners. This means that if SmackDown gets a big show, Raw is likely to get one later.
“I talk to a lot of my friends in the networks. When you see something big happening on one another, they are suggesting that you expect something bigger. Maybe not next week, but they should treat them once a week, that’s true.”
It was also noted that WWE cannot treat a brand’s appearance as a “B-Show”. The networks don’t want to hear that they’re paying a ton for “WWE’s B-Show”.
WWE is booking a lot of things from Monday Night Football to any other entertainment options. They want to make sure their network partners are happy, and it made the decision to book such a big show on Monday.
