SantaCon NYC 2022 will release Drunken Kris Kringles this weekend

You better watch out, you better not drive, and we’ll tell you why: SantaCon is coming to town.

It’s that time of year when thousands of drunken Santas crawl the bars of Manhattan in epic, hilarious, and sometimes literal fashion.

$15 ticket Kris Kringle has access to impersonators 64 bars on Saturday. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. at Broadway and 40th Street.

Costumes are required to participate in the event, whether it’s a classic Santa costume, an elf ascension, or anything that represents Christmas.

“So put on your gay gear, bake all your cookies, and practice a few chimney slides, because SantaCon will be here before you know it!” organizers were excited on the SantaCon site.

Ticket revenue is said to be split among various charities.

Last year’s SantaCon was a welcome return to tradition as the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to extravagant elves getting into the holiday spirit in 2020.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination was required at the door to enter the 2021 event, but not this year.

Past SantaCons have sparked controversy, with two arrests in 2018 and five in 2015, including a woman who threw a beer mug at an East Village bartender.
