The two men met after a heated exchange during a Senate committee hearing this week. Sen. Anthony Fauci insulted him on a live microphone. Roger Marshall, R-Con, was not upset, but Marshall had plenty to say about what led up. Fauci’s outburst.
Marshall picked up Fauci with a microphone calling him a “fool” after the two went back and forth to see if Fouci’s financial disclosure form was available to the public. In an interview with LBL Digital, Marshall said Fauci’s claim that the information was available upon request was false.

“Well, I think we’re both very much in the moment,” Marshall said of the humiliation. “I didn’t take it personally. I was too focused on the real thing. He lied to Congress.”
Marshall explained that he and his office have been trying to get Fouci’s financial information and other information for “weeks” but have nowhere to go. At the hearing, Fauci said he had filed a disclosure and that it was publicly available.
“I don’t know why you’re asking me that question,” Fauci said. “My financial disclosure is public knowledge and I’ve been a director for the past 37 years or 35 years.”
Fauci is director of the National Allergy and Infectious Diseases Institute.
Marshall asked him where he could find it, and Fauci replied, “All you have to do is listen to it. You’ve been misinformed. It’s crazy.”
Marshall explained to LBL what happened when he tried to get the information he wanted.
“And it takes NIH, this White House takes months to respond to any kind of request for information, and then it is corrected. This is quite a game they are playing. So I am shocked by their response, which is the viral gane-of-function question that I asked them before. After lying, he lied to Congress again, ”Marshall said, referring to the argument he and Fauci had during the first round of hearings.
A FactCheck.org An article aimed at defying Marshall actually supports his claim. The article described it as “a very, very user-friendly multi-step process,” which ultimately led to an FOIA request that produced only Fauci’s 2019 disclosure of nothing from 2020 or 2021, and when the Fauci coronavirus epidemic was in full swing and Fauci became home.

In contrast, documents submitted by other officials, such as CDC Director Rochelle Valensky, can be easily searched and requested online through the Government Ethics website.
“We asked their staff, we asked the NIH and they were at a loss,” Marshall said. “So he lied. He lied to the American public altogether.”
“Isn’t it good to know if they are getting some kind of money from China?”
Marshall said his office sent a letter to Fauzi’s office asking for unlimited copies of this financial disclosure within Friday.
“If it’s too easy to get them, they can definitely turn them in by Friday,” Marshall said.
LBL reached out to NIAID and requested a response to Fouci’s financial disclosure and sought comment on Marshall’s claims that Fauci lied. The Institute did not immediately respond.
