SHINee’s Minho has released his debut solo mini-album and digital version of his single ‘Chase’.

SHINee’s Minho has digitally released his debut solo mini-album ‘Chase’ and its title track of the same name.

On December 6, SHINee’s Minho made his official solo debut with the digital release of his mini-album ‘Chase’ and the lead single of the same name. The six-track record is now available on streaming platforms.

When I open my eyes, I dream again / It seems like there is no end / I keep running / I run, I run, I run,” he sings on the chorus of his new R&B single. The physical album and music video for “Chase” will be released on December 12th.

“Chase” also includes the song “Heartbreak” that Minho released earlier this year through SM Entertainment’s SM Station project. Notably, the B-sides “Runaway” and “Waterfall” include features from rapper GEMINI and singer Lim Kim, respectively. Other songs on the record include “Prove” and “Choose”.

The new record marks Minho’s official debut as a soloist, almost 15 years after his SHINee debut. However, the singer previously released the song “I’m Home” for SM Entertainment’s SM Station project, as well as two Japanese tracks “Romeo and Juliet” and “Falling Free” earlier this year.

Before the performance of ‘Chase’ at Kyunghee University on December 7th and 8th, Minho will hold his ‘2022 Best Choi Minho – Lucky Choi’ fan meeting in Seoul. The second day of the event will be broadcast in real time on the Beyond LIVE video platform. Tickets are available Here At 35 USD.

With the release of ‘Chase’, Minho is now the fifth and final member of SHINee to debut as a soloist. In 2014, Taemin was the first member of a boy band to release his solo single, ‘Ace’. The late Jonghyun released Base the following year, while Onew and Key both released their debut solo projects in 2018.
