Sigur Rós, Primal Scream and Gabriels are among the acts confirmed for new UK concert series On the Mount – find all the details below.
The inaugural edition of the multi-day event is due to take place this summer at Wessing Estate in Aldermaston, Berkshire. Tickets go on general sale this Friday (February 10) at 10am GMT – You can buy yours here..
LAR&B trio Gabriels, who were nominated for a BBC Sound of 2023 award, will headline the series on Thursday 22 June, following opening acts by Olivia Dean and Rachel Chinoreri.
Jack Johnson will then top the bill on June 25 before further headline shows by Primal Scream (June 30), Ben Howard (July 1) and Sigur Rós (July 2), the latter of which will be a UK festival special. will appear as .
Special guests for these days are yet to be announced. Additionally, On the Mount will present the Summer Solstice Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, June 21. The lineup is yet to be revealed.

Late last year saw the 20th anniversary reissue of Sigur Rós’ third studio album ‘( )’.
In a statement shared in February 2022, the Icelandic trio revealed that they were “in the process of writing and recording” a new full-length record before embarking on an extensive headline tour.
