‘SNL’: Taylor Swift sings ‘Three Sad Virgins’ and ‘All Too Well’, Famous Friends Join

A day after re-releasing her fourth album, “Red”, Taylor Swift performed a new 10-minute version of her song “All Too Well” as a music guest on “Saturday Night Live” and sang in a comedy video, along with cast member Pete Davidson. Three.

Swiftly greeted by the audience, Swift sang “All Too Well” from “Red (Taylor’s Edition)” with a short film of the same name, starring Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink as the backdrop. Originally featured on 2012’s “Red”, fans have long suspected that the song was inspired by a brief period of dating Swift actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

And after her performance, Colin Jost opened a “Weekend Update” with irony about the rumored connection: “Well, guys, the lesson we all got this week is to never break up with Taylor Swift or she’ll be singing about you for 10 minutes on National Television.

Swift guest-starred with Davidson in a new video created by New York-based Sketch Troop Please Don’t Destroy (Martin Herlihy, John Higgins and Ben Marshall).

The video, titled “Three Sad Virgins,” featured Davidson rapping about his high-profile celebrity life and hanging out with “these three sad virgins” with cool and famous friends.

Hurlihy, Higgins, and Marshall are guilty of labeling themselves for hilarious effect, and when they realize this “parody” music video, they actually make it weird. When he’s not humiliated enough, Davidson brings Swift to roast them all.

She begins by singing that Marshall “resembles a sad Ron Weasley. He looks as if Big Bird has lost all his feathers.” Swift then took Hurley to a musical act “to have the charm and sex appeal of the scarecrow”, admitting that Higgins was a big “bowling-ball head” (“How can he be so straight with that big fat melon?”). “None of them dare to take off their shirts in front of a girl,” he points out.

She climbs and dances to the catchy repetitive chorus of “three sad virgins” before being stuck in the last nail: “And they die alone.”
