Jamie-Lynn Sigler is getting honest about the struggles she faces as a mom with multiple sclerosis (MS).
On the “Bathroom Chronicles” podcast, Sigler shared her acceptance of her illness, but she admits she’s having trouble keeping up with her family.
“I really don’t know how I would have been the person I am today without him. And I’m so grateful for him,” she said. “But I feel myself, as a person, leveling up and moving forward, but my body isn’t following me, and that’s really, really my struggle now. You feel That it should be aligned, and it’s not. That’s the struggle my family has, to be honest, we all feel it.”

Sigler was diagnosed with MS when she was 20, before she began the fourth season of “The Sopranos.” The actress kept the diagnosis a secret for 15 years before announcing it to the world in 2016.

“I think it will be really cool for my kids to witness the miraculous healing, also how they can carry it with them for the rest of their lives,” she said. “My theory is, like, I always stick to what I try to see when I’m meditating or whatever, and it’s always just me running with them.”
She continued, “I just run in front of them in their joy and happiness, because they talk about it all the time. That’s all they want.”

On the podcast, he opened up about some of his complicated feelings about his time on the show.
“It was such a big part of my life, and then it’s gone. And it was ten years, and then it’s over. You know, and then everybody moves on, and you’re like, ‘Wait. .’ And everyone still talks about it, it’s still important to people,” the actress explained.
“I’m so grateful to be a part of it, but because I feel so far away from that girl there, it’s like waiting, I want to reconnect with something that’s so important to everyone and me, And it gave me my home. The place I live in and the success I’m having now, because everyone connects me to it. But I want to have a better relationship with that experience… I think. That I have gradually become capable of.”

Sigler also shared that one of the cast members she’s been close with is Ada Turturro, who played Tony’s sister Janice on the show, saying that she’s “been involved in my survival journey and my It’s a huge part of happiness.”
She even shared a photo with her co-star on Instagram in January, captioned, “Meet a little soul mate today.”

Although she said she still faces physical limitations due to her MS, Sigler continues to work out and find ways to adjust to her condition.
“I’ve gone back and forth about quitting a million and one times because of it, and I can’t give it up either. I just love it so much, and I want to deepen my work as I go. Getting deeper myself,” he said on the podcast.
