Soulsjer watched Man United’s victory over Villarreal and ‘totally buzzing’ fans chanting his name


Manz United were sacked by Soldiers after their embarrassing defeat to Watford last weekend.

And, according to Andy MittonNot only did Norwegian Man United look forward to a place in the next round of competition, they were also “buzzing” with fans singing their names.

Tourist supporters chanted Soulszare’s name in their 2-0 win over Spain.

In fact, the 48-year-old sent a message to the club that caused the club’s crushing European clash.

He said: “As I told them this morning, believe me, you know we are better than this.

“We couldn’t show it but go out, get off the chest, have fun as a Man United player, in the Champions League, on the big stage.

“If you win the match, you go to the next hammer, Michael [Carrick] Will be in charge. Michael, I have the utmost respect [for], I love Michael to bits. I feel like he’s on top.

“They’ll be fine. I’ll see and support them.”

Carrick was in charge of Man United on Tuesday, and the club decided to appoint Ralph Rangnick as interim boss until the end of the season.

The 63-year-old is set to join the Old Trafford outfit on a six-month deal, but will not be in charge this weekend against Chelsea.
