in the latest escape from tarkov Patch, Battlestate Games has added a variety of features for players to experience with Wipe today (June 30).
Key features include a weapon malfunction system, which can jam guns if players don’t care. It is accompanied by a troubleshooting skill that “facilitates the correction of weapon malfunctions” upon leveling.
Similarly, different types of ammunition now have different levels of ‘durability burn’, meaning that some bullets will degrade your gun a lot faster than others.
The level 20 requirement for flea market access has also been included. Players were previously able to access the Marketplace – where they can buy and sell items with other players – at level 10, although patch 12.11 has raised the requirement to a higher level of 20.
‘Factory’ fans will find that the small PvP-oriented map has been greatly expanded with this patch. As well as the changes to the map, there’s a new resident — a tough, melee-oriented scavenger boss called Tagilla (shown below) — who will make it more difficult to survive raids in that area.
As seen on Reddit, the Tagila is well equipped for close range and will wear a Class 6 plate carrier, Class 5 helmet and a Saiga shotgun, with some heavy modifications.
Outside of raids, players can now use a sorting table, which serves as a temporary storage table, to be used when shuffling items around.
One lucky player has already found a new gun, the ‘CMMG MK46 Mutant’, on Reddit.
Other items on this patch include cans of Loot Lord Plush and Rattola. pointing to both escape from tarkov Content Creator – Plush is for AquaFPS, while Rattola is for Gen Sam.
Stealth players have got a little nerf, as moving through the bushes will now prevent you from running. While bushfires on the reserve have always done so, the patch has replaced bushfires on every other map in order to function in the same way.
While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, players are reporting that a reputation system has been added for player scavs – meaning the game will recognize when you’re hostile to other scavs.
The Fence – a mysterious merchant who gives players kappa quests – has gained the same reputation system that other merchants currently operate on.
Battlestate games also tease something that hasn’t been discovered yet, as the latest main menu theme – titled Big Brother – prominently features a security camera looking at the menu.
There are also new keybinds for the phrases your character says, as well as changes to some reticles and improved formatting for a number of resort keys.
While there are no official patch notes yet that have been added, earlier in the day (June 30) Battlestate Games released patch notes detailing what bugs will be fixed in the patch.
Here is the list of fixes #escapefrom tarkov Patch 0.12.11.
Please note that this list does not include changes and new additions introduced in this patch. Full details of the patch will be published laterhttps://t.co/gKFNeeQ5fX

This includes fixing a problem with “The Punisher: Part 4,” which – to this day – could have been accomplished without wearing the required Skew vest.
As well as several improvements to the UI, the patch also included various physics, graphics and server optimizations.
Players are not only excited to try out all the new features — there’s a wipe with the latest patch, which removes all progress and any gear the player had gathered before today. Many get the chance to start again with less loot, as competitive players are usually on a much higher playing field in the weeks following a wipe.
