Maybe “Ham-let” would be more.
Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein is casting Miss Piggy and himself in a Muppets-themed adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Entertainment Weekly reports.
Goldstein floated the idea of another Muppets remake last week while celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Muppet Christmas Carol with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and Robin.
“You’ve done A Christmas Carol Doll. You have completed Doll Treasure Island. You did ‘The Wizard of Oz,'” Goldstein said. “Can I please say that we can do a Muppet Pride and Prejudice movie?”
When the Thor: Love and Thunder actor offered to play the role of Mr. Darcy, Miss Piggy was able to play the lead role in the novel, Elizabeth Bennet.
“I really wanted to do it,” he said. “Brett, you have power in this town. Can you add Pride and Prejudice and Hogwarts in green?

“I think you’ve got the pull, but Piggy’s the push,” added Gonzo, referring to His Highness’ famous quick temper.
The Post reached out to Goldstein for comment.
The roundtable has moved on to other potential remakes, such as Muppet Sunset Boulevard, with Miss Piggy as Norma Desmond.
Kermit offered to produce both films if he got the go-ahead.
“Darcy swims in the lake a bit, so you might as well,” Goldstein told Robin.
“Oh, I’m good at swimming,” said Robin.
