The NFL needs to go back to 15 minute overtime or find a way to keep games from being tied. It’s a disservice to fans, players and everyone involved.
Meanwhile, the Giants can’t buy a win right now. They are still on a downward spiral with many key injuries. However, they are still in the playoffs. They still control their own destiny.
to react to a strange 20-20 finish against the Commanderswe bring you a new episode of the Blue Rush podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Paul Schwartz and Brandon London.
The Blue Rush Podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Brandon London and Paul Schwartz:
- REACTION to tie: It’s like a loss. And so many missed opportunities. It wasn’t cheers or cheers from the crowd. It’s a very strange feeling for football players. It felt like a loss because you’re used to winning these kinds of games this season. On the plus side, a tie could help them with less losses than the Chiefs/Seahawks.
- DJ/SAQUON/OFFENSE: Daniel Jones played brilliantly. This game does not fall on him. The Giants have shown they can’t win without Saquon Barkley being productive. The mockery was cruel. No way.
- PROTECTION: They will certainly miss many of their injured players. If Adoree’ Jackson or Xavier McKinney plays that game, they can win.
- TWEETS: Giants fans vented their frustrations and we read tweets. Many fans felt the game was too conservative. Will they make the playoffs? Is it time to worry after a three game winless streak?
