Netflix has released a new “special trailer” for its upcoming Korean original series, Fabulous.
The streaming service debuted a new visual earlier today (Dec. 7), which focuses more on the romantic tension between the two. fabulous’ the two leads are Pyo Ji-eun (Chae Soo-bin) and Ji Woo-min (SHINee’s Minho). Sand set in the glamorous world of South Korea’s popular fashion scene, the latest trailer depicts the relationship developing as love interests as they each try to come to terms with their feelings for each other. Things get even more complicated as their careers intersect in the fast-paced fashion industry.
Fabulous It is scheduled to premiere globally on Netflix on December 23rd. Check out the trailer below.
Besides fabulous’ As seen in the teaser released last month, the series also features cameo appearances by several of South Korea’s top models in the main cast. One scene in particular involves Choi So Ra, who is known as the third cycle winner Korea’s next top model.
Other actors appearing on the show alongside Minho and Chae include Kim Min-kyu – the past Produce X 101 contestant – Woori The Virgin’s Byun Jun-seo and Lee Mi-do (Kiss the Sixth Sense, House of Lies). Actors Kwon Hye-Sung (Cafe Minamdang, Devil Judge), rookie actress Ye Seon-ho will also star in the series, among others.
Fabulous was postponed earlier Due to the mourning that coincided with the original premiere date of November 4th in South Korea. The period of mourning was announced late last month by South Korean Prime Minister Han Dak-soo after a mob braked in Seoul’s Itaewon nighttime district. . The incident that happened on the night of October 29 killed more than 150 people.
In other news, Netflix earlier this week announced the production of a documentary exploring the story behind Bong’s unreleased first short film. Looking for heaven continues. Bong created the 22-minute short film in 1992 as a university student. The documentary will begin streaming on Netflix next year, but an exact release date will be announced at a later date.
