LOS ANGELES is the man Shot Lady Gaga’s dog walker and stole her French bulldogs pleaded guilty last year and was sentenced Monday to 21 years in prison, officials said.
Officials say the connection to Lady Gaga was a coincidence. The reason for this was the French bulldogs, which cost thousands of dollars, and investigators do not believe the thieves knew the dogs belonged to the musician.

Jackson and others traveled through Hollywood, West Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley on Feb. 24, 2021, “looking for French bulldogs,” prosecutors previously said. They found Ryan Fisher, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, with the pop star’s three pets.
Jackson shot and killed Fisher during a robbery near the famous Sunset Boulevard in which two dogs were taken. A nearby doorbell camera captures a dog walker shouting, “Oh my God! I’ve been shot!†and “Help!†and “My chest is bleeding!â€




Fisher later called the violence “a very close call with death” in social media posts. The the dogs were returned for several days by a woman who was later charged with the crime.
Jackson also pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and a prior strike charge, the DA’s office said Monday. He was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
“The plea agreement holds Mr. Jackson accountable for his cold-blooded act of violence and provides justice for our victim,” the office said in a statement.
Representatives for Lady Gaga did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
