What is the “Wendy Williams Show” without Wendy Williams? We’ll find out next week.
The TV personality sits in the premiere of his talk show Season 13, as he continues to have medical problems, posted on the series’ Instagram page Tuesday afternoon.
“‘The Wendy Williams Show’ will premiere on Monday, October 18, and an exciting lineup of guest hosts and panels will be announced soon,” the post read.
“Wendy continues to be under medical supervision and meets with her medical team. She is making progress but suffers from serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ disease and her thyroid condition.
The post gave no indication as to when Williams is expected to return.
“As soon as she is ready, she returns to her precious purple chair,” it said.

Williams is suffering from Graves’ disease
Williams, 57, suffers from autoimmune disorder Graves’ disease, Hyperthyroidism. She took a break from her appearance in May 2020 due to fatigue caused by the symptoms.
Tuesday’s announcement follows Williams and her eponymous series of medical setbacks, which were supposed to begin on September 20th. Medical issues delayed the premiere on October 4, then October 18.
Announced on September 15, Williams tested positive for Kovid-19 in health assessments. The previous week, Williams canceled public appearances due to health issues.
When the production of “Wendy Williams” ceased at the beginning of the epidemic, her daytime talk show was two months away from her home.
Williams said last September: “The epidemic doesn’t affect how we do our shows., Adding that fans can expect “the same Wendy, the same laugh, the same show.”
