Nikki Ashe is currently signed to WWE for over five years and has shown a lot of improvement over the years. Even during her time from WWE TV, Nikki was training and brainstorming ideas for when she would be back on screen.
In a recent interview Joseph Staszewski of the New York PostNikki Ashe revealed that she was training with one of the Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and her husband TJ Wilson (fka Tyson Kidd) in the new Dungeon.
While Natalya is still an active wrestler and an integral part of WWE’s women’s division, TJ Wilson has retired from in-ring competition but has a major role in WWE as a producer.
The two have been of great help to many members of the roster, as many wrestlers often sing their praises, much like Nikki Ash, who said the following when asked about her recent training sessions:
“Natty and TJ (Wilson), they’ve been wonderful enough to invite [us]ASH said, “We are going out there weekly and they have so much to offer this industry. TJ has such a brilliant mind and Natalya is so inspirational and she has so much knowledge, so both Together they are the ultimate power couple. They care about this industry a lot, so it was awesome to be able to pick their brains.
And then my husband, Damien McLay (Killian Dann), we’ve done a lot of training. He is still one of my head coaches. We work on things all the time. Also Drew Gulak, Monday afternoon the practice ring would be set up in the arena before television and he would always work on stuff with me. That’s why I feel like I surround myself with great people with great knowledge.”
Following her new character debut, Nikki Ashe qualified for the WWE Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and is looking forward to stepping out as the briefcase holder.
